Winter in Greenland is magical! There is always light in the darkness, even though our winters can be long. We cozy up as the street lights, stars, moon, and northern lights help light up the snow. In December, the orange poinsettias also help to brighten up, and by the time we reach February, the days start to get long again.
If you’re on winter vacation in Ilulissat, an overnight stay in the Igloo Lodge is also worth considering! You can spend the night in an igloo deep in the wilderness and cozy up in the lovely heated hygge right next door.
