Iniut culture in Greenland – Find your trip here

Treat yourself to an unforgettable trip to Greenland and experience the deep roots of the Inuit culture all over the country.

For more than 4,000 years, humans have populated Greenland. We keep finding ruins and artifacts from the different hunting cultures that have been living in our enormous country.

Icelandic Vikings crossed the sea from the East and settled in the Southern part of Greenland. They started what now is called the era of the Norsemen. Later, the people of the Inuit from Thule arrived from the North. They brought their kayaks and dog sleds. And they brought their powerful myths and legends.

The Norsemen are extinct, but the Inuit of Thule people are still here. Now we are called Greenlanders and fully integrated with the modern world. At the same time, we are proud of the culture we are made of. Greenland is called Kalaallit Nunaat in the Greenlandic language. It means ”The people’s land”. Embark on an unforgettable trip to ”The people’s land” with us and get in touch with our powerful and lively culture and history.

On this page we have gathered a selection of amazing trips to Greenland with a wide range of excursions where you can experience the Inuit culture.
