Icebergs in the Midnight Sun – 5 days
5 Days with UNESCO World Heritage
Fly in from Iceland and experience the huge icebergs that you find at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ilulissat Icefjord in the Disko Bay of Greenland. Enjoy whale watching, sailing, and hiking near icebergs under the midnight sun.
The most productive glacier in the northern hemisphere calves here in the Ilulissat Icefjord. It produces up to 40 million tonnes of ice a day. The rugged beauty of the many thousands of icebergs that sail out into Disko Bay welcomes you to the wonderful world of the Arctic.
Ilulissat is located almost 300 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. With its 4,500 inhabitants and 2,500 sled dogs, it is a thriving and vibrant town where old and new mix perfectly. Here, you will experience the Greenlandic culture. Furthermore, nature is located right on your doorstep, ready to be both explored and admired.
In Ilulissat, you will be in the safe, knowledgeable hands of our local partners, “World of Greenland,” who will send a guide to your hotel and welcome you upon arrival. World of Greenland has a wide variety of excursions to choose from.
